Appointed Members

10 additional members are appointed
by the Student Council Selection Committee

Advisor

The Deputy Director for Academic and Research Work will appoint a staff member from the Faculties Development Unit (the Advisor). The Advisor attends the Student Council meetings, provides support and guidance, and serves as an ex-officio non-voting member.
Students with a history of misconduct and/or discipline
are not eligible for being members of the Student Council.

Along with the participation in the Student Council, channels of communication within the University involve the selection of a Class Representative from each academic program who presents and responds to University-related issues. These representatives are expected to discuss matters with their respective batch, reach a collective decision, and present it to their faculty member Class Advisor.
In some cases, it may be necessary for the Class Representative to directly communicate with the Academic Head of the Educational Program, the Students and Faculties Development Unit, and Student Council. Students are encouraged to voice their opinions and express their needs, which can be done during the routine evaluation processes related to the University's teaching and learning environment. Students may also attend faculty meetings upon the invitation of the Class Advisor to present or discuss specific topics or issues.
