UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION GUIDE



Check Eligibility

  1. Applicants who hold a high school diploma or equivalent degree from the institutions inside the UAE should provide the Original UAE Secondary School Certificate: or its equivalent approved by the Ministry of Education in the UAE.
  2. Applicants who hold a high school diploma or equivalent degree from the institutions outside the UAE must present Certificate of Equivalency for their graduation certificates from the UAE Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Affairs Division. 

Equivalency procedure for applicants:

 
  • The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the Ministry of Education of the country where it was received.
  • The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where it was received.
  • The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the UAE embassy in the country where it was received.
  • The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of inside the UAE.
  • The Diploma must be sent to the UAE Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Affairs Division for equivalency certificate.



Prepare Required Documents

Make sure you carefully gather the required documents.

  1. Completed application form.
  2. Copy of a valid passport and identity card.
  3. Four recent passport-size photographs (in color) or in JPEG format file

Check English Language Proficiency

For undergraduate programs taught in English, a minimum EmSAT score of 1100, TOEFL score of 500 (173 CBT, 61 iBT) or equivalent, 5.0 IELTS academic, or their equivalents on another standardized nationally, or internationally, recognized test that is approved by the MoE.

  • Applicants who are unable to provide the required Certificate of English Proficiency from their own country, may be accepted conditionally based on internal English examination and they must provide the Certificate of English Proficiency during the first semester.

Prepare for Entrance Examinations

  • Applicants (excluding Russian Federation applicants) must provide Minimum Math EmSAT 600 or pass the University’s Math Test. Minimum score for University’s Math — Test is 60/100.
     
  • Russian Federation undergraduate applicants who hold a high school diploma of Russian Federation must provide the results of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language, mathematics (profile) and English. Results of the Unified State Examination is (the maximum score for each entrance test is 100 points): mathematics - 39, Russian - 40; social science - 45; history - 35; geography - 40.
     
  • Russian Applicants who have passed the Entrance Examination at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow must provide the proof of mathematics test.

Submit all Documents

Submit your documents for admission, which should include:

  1. Application for admission to undergraduate studies addressed
    to the Branch Director of the University;
  2. Questionnaire;
  3. Consent to the processing of personal data;
  4. Diploma of secondary education (or secondary vocational, higher education)
    with a mandatory notarized translation into English/Russian;
  5. Copy of passport with a notarized translation into English/Russian;
  6. Copy of UAE national passport (for UAE citizens);
  7. International medical certificate;
  8. HIV-negative certificate, Hepatitis B and C — negative certificate;
  9. 4 photos (size 3×4);
  10. Health insurance certificate (to be purchased after admission);
  11. Receipt for the non-refundable admission fees.
