Graduate credit transfer
Check Eligibility
- Students transferring from other institutions into the same program major should be in good academic standing (for undergraduates, a minimum CGPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent
- The applicant should have completed successfully at least one full semester in an accredited institution of higher education with a minimum CGPA of 3.0, before an application may be considered for credit transfer to Plekhanov University to the same major.
- The maximum approved transfer credits must not exceed 25% of the total credits towards a bachelor’s program at Plekhanov University.
- Courses completed at another institution more than 5 years prior to registration at Plekhanov University as an undergraduate student may not be transferable.
Prepare Required Documents
Make sure you carefully gather the required documents.
- Completed application form.
- Copy of a valid passport and identity card.
- Receipt for the non-refundable admission fees.
- Four recent passport-size photographs (in color) or in JPEG format file.
- Applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from the institutions outside the UAE must present Certificate of Equivalency for their graduation certificates from the UAE Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Affairs Division.
- Applicants to be transferred must provide the attested and legalized documents of last degree of received.
- Applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from the institutions inside the UAE should provide the Original UAE Secondary School Certificate: or its equivalent approved by the Ministry of Education in the UAE.
- Applicants to be transferred must provide the transcripts of the disciplines passed during their studies in the previous institutions.
- Students may apply for a credit transfer for courses, taken at a licensed institution, or other organization approved by the Ministry of Education in the UAE, or recognized institutions of higher learning located outside the UAE.
Equivalency procedure for applicants (for the last degree received):
- The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the Ministry of Education of the country where it was received.
- The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where it was received.
- The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the UAE embassy in the country where it was received.
- The Diploma must be attested and legalized in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of inside the UAE.
- The Diploma must be sent to the UAE Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Affairs Division for equivalency certificate.
Check English Language Proficiency
For graduate programs taught in English, a minimum EmSAT score of 1400, TOEFL score of 550 (213 CBT, 79 iBT), 6.0 IELTS academic, or their equivalents on another standardized nationally, or internationally, recognized test that is approved by the MoE.
- Applicants who are unable to provide the required Certificate of English Proficiency from their own country, may be accepted conditionally based on internal English examination and they must provide the Certificate of English Proficiency during the first semester.
Prepare for Entrance Examinations
- Master of Science in Corporate finance: Economic Theory and Management. Minimum score for University’s examination is 60/100
- Master of Science in Digital Business: Enterprise Architecture and Databases Minimum score for University’s examination is 60/100
Submit all Documents
Submit your documents for admission, which should include:
- Application for admission to graduate studies addressed to the Branch Director of the University;
- Questionnaire;
- Consent to the processing of personal data;
- Diploma of higher education with a mandatory notarized translation into English/Russian;
- Copy of passport with a notarized translation into English/Russian;
- Copy of UAE national passport (for UAE citizens);
- International medical certificate;
- HIV-negative certificate, Hepatitis B and C — negative certificate;
- 4 photos (size 3×4);
- Health insurance certificate (to be purchased after admission);
- Receipt for the non-refundable admission fees.
