Preparatory week for students
On September 9th, the preparatory week began for the students at Plekhanov University in Dubai. This week is filled with various activities, including an introduction to the campus and its facilities: the study area, library, transfer station, shopping centers, food court, and sports facilities.
'Today, we welcome our first cohort of students to the Plekhanov University branch. The students have demonstrated strong performance in the entrance examinations, reflecting their high level of preparedness. Being the first is both an honor and a responsibility,' stated Svetlana Malkarova,Chairperson of Plekhanov University in Dubai.
During this week, Maria Zarudnaya, Deputy Director of the Higher School of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Senior Lecturer at Plekhanov University, will familiarize students with the cultural characteristics and national traditions of the UAE. She will also conduct preparatory English courses on 'Intercultural Communication' to better equip students for the academic week commencing on September 16th. -
